WAM FLYING FIELDS

We are fortunate to have two beautiful fields. The Carroll County Model Aerodrome is named Spiegle field and our Giant scale field is named Baughers field.
Both are maintained and used by the WAM membership. Directions and photos of each are below.

 

BAUGHERS FIELD

Directions: From 695, Take I-795 10 Miles, To Rt. 140 NW 12 Miles, To Rt.31 SW, Go 4.9 Miles.
Make a left onto Wakefield Valley Rd. Make the first left after the railroad tracks, follow this road all the way down to The field.

Beware of planes taking off and landing, as you cross the end of the field.

 

SPIEGLE FIELD
Not just a great place to fly but one of the prettiest views in the county!

Directions:

Spiegle field requires a key to open the chain. All full members receive a key.
